The 1969 Lola #6 Penske Sunoco T70 MkIIIB - abbreviated as "#6 Lola T70" or "Lola #6 T70"[1] - is a rear-wheel drive race car by Lola.
It appears in Forza Horizon 3 and all subsequent main series titles.
Synopsis[]
The Lola T70 MkIIIB is a Group 7 race car built from 1969 to 1970. The MkIIIB is the final iteration of the Lola T70, replacing various open-top Spyder iterations.[2]
The Forza series features chassis "SL76/139", sporting a Sunoco livery design and a five liter Chevrolet V8 engine. It won the 1969 24 Hours of Daytona and was intended to race at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, which was made impossible after being stolen during transport. The car was later recovered by Mark Donohue, one of the drivers of this car, although it missed the engine and had to be rebuilt.[3]
Performance[]
The Lola T70 MkIIIB is a high-ranked Classic Racer car in the Horizon series, featuring well-rounded performance and an impressive 0 to 60 mph (97 km/h) time of 3 seconds. Capable of cornering at 0.98 Gs on average, but lacking in braking power due to taking 360 ft (110 m) to brake from 100 mph (161 km/h) to a standstill, it may require some practice to unfold its racing potential.
