The 1986 Lotus #12 Team Lotus 98T - abbreviated as "Lotus #12 98T" - is a Formula One car by Lotus.
It appears in Forza Motorsport (2023) as part of the Car Pass.
Synopsis[]
The 98T was designed by Gérard Ducarouge and Martin Ogilvie and built by Team Lotus for use in the 1986 Formula One World Championship. Ayrton Senna scored eight pole positions and won two races in this car. Senna's teammate was Johnny Dumfries who scored three points during the 1986 season.
The 98T was powered by a 1.5L (1,492 cc) Renault EF15B turbocharged V6 producing 900 hp (671 kW) and 483 ft·lb (655 N·m) in race-spec. In qualifying-trim, the power output was increased to up to 1200 hp (895 kW). The engine was paired with a manual transmission co-developed by Hewland. Senna used a five-speed variant, while Dumfries used a six-speed variant.[1]
