"The ultimate Lotus experience has arrived at the Horizon Festival with the 2018 Lotus Exige Cup 430, an even stronger and loonier version of the Exige. Hidden in plain sight within the car’s name is its first impressive stat: the horsepower. The Exige Cup 430 produces 430 horsepower dispatched by a 3.5-litre V6 engine. While that number might not sound crazy, when it’s paired up with the car’s extreme lightweight and improved downforce, the 430 reaches 100 kph in about 3.3 seconds. Designed to fulfill your deepest track fantasies, the Exige Cup 430’s gorgeous design and crazy speed will not disappoint racing fans eager to dominate the courses of the Horizon Festival."—Official description[1]
The 2018 Lotus Exige Cup 430 - abbreviated as "Lotus Exige '18" - is a mid-engine, rear-wheel drive sports car by Lotus.
It appears in Forza Horizon 5 as part of the Series 46 update.
Synopsis[]
The Lotus Exige Cup 430 is an upgraded variant of the Lotus Exige Cup 380, which is based on the Lotus Exige S, that was unveiled on November 9, 2017. Rather than being a limited production of 60 units like the Cup 380, the Cup 430 was in full production.
The Exige Cup 430 comes with the same powertrain as the Lotus Evora GT430, being a 3.5L Supercharged V6 manufactured by Toyota that produces a power output of 430 hp (321 kW).
Other upgrades over the Exige Cup 380 are titanium exhaust, and additional carbon fiber in body panels and interior, which bring the Cup 430's weight down to 2328 lb (1056 kg), 26 lb (12 kg) less than the Cup 380. It also is only offered with a 6-speed manual transmission, with no automatic transmission being offered.[2]
The Exige Cup 430 was produced until 2021, with a celebratory 'Final Edition' being produced.[3]
Performance[]
The Exige Cup 430's powertrain allows it to get from 0-60 mph (97 km/h) in 3.2 seconds and to a top speed of 180 mph (290 km/h).[2]
