Lucid is an American electric vehicle manufacturer featured in Forza Horizon 5 since Series 27.
Synopsis[]
Originally named Atieva, Lucid was founded in 2007 by Tesla Motors Vice President Bernard Tse, co-founder of Astoria Networks Sam Weng, and inventor Sheaupyng Lin to produce batteries and powertrains for electric vehicle manufacturers.
In 2016, Atieva was rebranded to Lucid Motors along with the announcement of their intent to produce a high-performance, long-range, electric vehicle. Lucid would fulfill this intent with the Air, first rolling off the production line in September 2021.
Lucid's next vehicle, an electric SUV named the Gravity, was announced as a concept in 2020 and started production in December 2024.[1]
