"Small in stature but large in racing history, presence and performance, the Mini Cooper S has always held its own against much larger cars. Its unmistakable petite package is endearing to the masses and its surprising performance is profound. Wheeling through traffic is a breeze and you will find this early front-wheel drive ride to stick to nearly any surface."—Official description[1]
The 1965 MINI Cooper S - abbreviated as "MINI '65" - is a front-wheel drive sport compact by MINI.
It appears in Forza Horizon and all subsequent main series titles. It can be discovered as a Barn Find in Forza Horizon 4.
Synopsis[]
The 1965 MINI Cooper S is a performance variant of the Mini, an economy car designed by the British Motor Corporation (BMC) from 1959 to 2000. It was launched in 1963 as a more powerful variant of the Mini Cooper, featuring a 1,275 cc (1.3 liter) engine since 1964, the largest factory displacement available for the Mini. The Cooper S was highly successful in rallying, where it won the 1964, 1965 and 1967 Monte Carlo Rally.
The Cooper S ended production in 1971, although the Cooper was relaunched in 1990. Since 2002, the Cooper S has been designated as a performance model for the MINI Hatch by the BMW Group.
