Synopsis
The 2018 MINI John Cooper Works (JCW) Convertible is a variant of the third generation MINI Hatch. This generation replaces the second generation MINI Hatch, of which the MINI John Cooper Works and MINI John Cooper Works GP have been commonly featured in the Forza series.
The MINI JCW Convertible is powered by the BMW B48, a two liter twin-scroll turbocharged engine rather than the 1.6 liter Prince engine from the last generation JCW models. With 228 hp (170 kW) and 236 ft·lb (320 N·m), it is more powerful than the older JCW MINI models, although it is also considerably heavier than most MINI production models due to weighing over 3000 lb (1361 kg).
