"Just when your morning jolt isn’t quite making it, the 2022 Mazda MX-5 Miata RF clutches in to save the day. The Miata RF is a fantastic convertible that is also such a pleasure to drive; its new Kinematic Posture Control allows it to (somehow) improve its cornering abilities compared to previous models. The 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine produces 181 hp and 151 lb-ft, plus it has the perfect power to weight ratio for a car of this kind. Coupled with its improved power steering system, the Miata is waiting for a few mods to become a drift king."—Official description[1]
The 2022 Mazda MX-5 Miata RF - abbreviated as "Mazda MX-5 RF" - is a rear-wheel drive convertible sports car by Mazda.
It appears in Forza Horizon 5 as part of Series 36.
Synopsis[]
First announced in late 2016, the MX-5 RF - short for "Retractable Fastback" - is a hardtop roof convertible variant of the fourth generation Mazda MX-5 (ND).
It features a retractable targa-style hardtop roof panel instead of the soft top of the standard model, giving the MX-5 a coupé-like silhouette.
The 2022 model also includes the 2018 and 2021 updates to the MX-5 line, featuring a reworked interior, improved steering response and body roll, and a revised 2.0-liter DOHC inline-four which increases the output from 155 hp (116 kW) to 181 hp (135 kW), as well as the torque output from 148 ft·lb (201 N·m) to 151 ft·lb (205 N·m).[2]
