"As a driver's machine, the MX-5 can't be beat. But this Superlight derivative takes the lightweight genre to a new level. Gone are all unnecessary element, including many comfort items like a windshield and interior trim. In its place are aggressive bucket seats and taut suspension settings; in other words, the stuff of race cars. the engine is tuned for more top end, thanks to better breathing by way of a cold-air intake and a less-restrictive exhaust. Like the regular MX-5, the Superlight shines on the track, particularly in the braking zones and mid-corner, so use those areas to your advantage. Brake deep, but you can probably carry more speed through the apex than you think."
