Synopsis[]
The 720S GT3 is a race car based on the McLaren 720S Coupé and is the successor to the McLaren 650S GT3. It was revealed in August 2018.
In comparison to its road-going counterpart, approximately 90 percent of its components have been changed and improved upon.[1]
In March 2021, the 720S GT3X was announced as a track-only race car not limited by the FIA GT3-class regulations. It won the 2021 Goodwood Festival Hill Climb Shootout.[2]
