"What goes beyond a hypercar? We believe the answer to that question is “2021 McLaren Sabre”. Only 15 units of the Sabre will ever be produced, and each one will arrive at their owner’s garage with a unique livery. However, styling isn’t what makes this car shatter our hypercar parameters. The Sabre comes equipped with a twin turbocharged V8 engine that puts out 824 HP and can produce close to 800 Nm of torque. Put this engine into action to achieve this car’s top speed of 350 kmh, making it the fastest non-hybrid McLaren ever made. Of course, no hypercar is complete without a supreme exterior design. The Sabre takes some inspiration from previous McLaren designs (mainly the Senna) and adds a few upgrades that give the car the insurmountable aerodynamics it needs to make the best out of such a magnificent engine."—Official description[1]
The 2021 McLaren Sabre - abbreviated as "McL. Sabre '21" - is a mid-engine, rear-wheel drive hypercar manufactured by McLaren.
It appears in Forza Horizon 5 as part of the Acceleration Car Pack which debuted in Series 32 and in Forza Motorsport (2023).
Synopsis[]
Unveiled in December 2020, the Sabre is produced by the McLaren Special Operations (MSO) division in Woking, England, but is only certified for sale in the United States, with it only sold via the Beverly Hills McLaren dealership in California.[2]
Its engine is a 4.0-liter V8, rated at 824 hp (614 kW) and 590 ft·lb (800 N·m), which has been claimed by McLaren to make the Sabre the fastest 2-seater car produced by the company; not including the F1 and Speedtail, which are both 3-seater cars.
