The 2018 McLaren Senna is a mid-engined hypercar by McLaren featured in Forza Horizon 4.

The Senna, codenamed "P15", is the newest McLaren Ultimate Series model, designed to be the most-track focused road car to ever come from the manufacturer.[1] It is named after legendary Brazilian Formula One driver Ayrton Senna, honoring and giving tribute to his success with the McLaren Formula One Team between 1988 and 1993 Formula 1 seasons. Only 500 units of the Senna were built.

It is largely based on the McLaren 720S, complete with an upgraded and modified version of the latter's carbon fiber monocoque and 4.0 liter (3,994 cc) twin-turbocharged V8 engine. This engine, now codenamed M840TR, is capable of making up to 789 hp (588 kW) at 7,250 rpm and 590 ft·lb (800 N·m) of torque at 5,500 rpm, all of which are sent to the rear wheels via an updated seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. In contrast with the previous Ultimate Series model, it has a low weight rating of 2800 lb (1270 kg) due to the lack of an electric motor.

With its heavy focus on aerodynamics, the Senna is constituted by various carbon fiber aerodynamic pieces, including a large adjustable double-element rear wing (operated electronically and manipulable with various settings in order to provide optimal performance while also acting as an airbrake), a double-element rear diffuser, a Formula One-inspired roof scoop, front and side air intakes, rear air louvers, large front fenders, and mini-canards inside the panel beside the front air intakes.

With a weight of 2800 lb (1270 kg), the McLaren Senna is among one of the sharpest-handling road legal cars in the series, owing to generating 1764 lb (800 kg) of downforce at 155 mph (250 km/h), making handling and braking its strongest performance traits.

Owing to the improved physics engine of Forza Horizon 4, the Senna launches off the line with little wheelspin even being rear-wheel drive and reaches 60 mph (97 km/h) in 2.7 seconds and 100 mph (161 km/h) in 5.1 seconds. It is also capable of at least 219 mph (352 km/h) provided enough room, allowing it to take on a variety of road courses. Its top speed still falls short of that of the P1, although the Senna can more than make up for this with its superior handling and braking.
