The 2017 Mercedes-AMG GT R -abbreviated as M-B AMG GTR - is a track-focused variant of the Mercedes-AMG GT S featured in Forza Horizon 3 as part of the Logitech G Car Pack, and as standard in Forza Motorsport 7 and Forza Horizon 4.
The Mercedes-AMG GT R is a high-performance variant of the Mercedes-AMG GT S fastback coupé. Unveiled at the 2016 Goodwood Festival of Speed, it features a front-mid-mounted M178 twin-turbocharged V8 engine, displacing 4.0 liters (3,982 cc) and producing 577 hp (430 kW) and 516 ft·lb (700 N·m) of torque.
The GT R displays various cosmetic alterations compared with the regular AMG GT, notably the front grill's vertical slats, a fixed carbon rear wing, new front air intakes, and new front and rear diffusers. Its styling is more similar to that of the GT3 race car.
It accelerates from 0 to 60 mph (97 km/h) in 3.5 seconds and reaches a top speed of circa 190 mph (306 km/h).
