The 1972 Mercedes-Benz 300 SEL 6.3 - abbreviated as "M-B 300 SEL" - is a rear-wheel drive saloon by Mercedes-Benz.
It appears in Forza Motorsport 4 as part of the April Alpinestars Pack, Forza Horizon 3 since the March 2017 update and as standard in Forza Motorsport 7.
Synopsis[]
The 300 SEL 6.3 is the high-end model of the W109 full-size luxury car that was produced from 1965 to 1973. In 1975, the 450 SEL 6.9 based on the first generation Mercedes-Benz S-Class was introduced to replace the 300 SEL 6.3.
Drivetrain[]
It borrowed the engine from the the larger 600 luxury saloon, a 6.3 litre V8 engine. The M100 codenamed engine utilised mechanical fuel injection, a single overhead camshaft and aluminium cylinder heads. It was optimised to produce 300 hp (224 kW) and 435 ft·lb (590 N·m) of torque, which allowed a top speed of 153 mph (246 km/h). The SEL 6.3 was solely available with a four-speed automatic transmission.
