The 1992 Mercedes-Benz 500 E - abbreviated as "M-B 500 E" - is a front-engine, rear-wheel-drive saloon developed by Mercedes-Benz in cooperation with Porsche.
It appears in Forza Horizon 5 as part of Series 31.
Synopsis[]
The 500 E is a rare and exclusive model built as of a collaboration between Mercedes-Benz and Porsche to create a high-performance version of the W124 E-Class, leading to 10,000 units being produced between 1990 and 1995.
Porsche built the hand-crafted chassis at their Zuffenhausen facility whilst Mercedes-Benz provided a 5.0L V8 engine from the 500 SL, which delivers 322 hp (240 kW) towards a 0 to 60 mph time of under 6 seconds.
Although it has a discreet appearance, it is equipped with a high-performance braking system also from the 500 SL, as well as a suspension system towards improved handling and stability.
