The 2014 Mercedes-Benz G 63 AMG 6x6 - abbreviated as "M-B G 63 6X6" - is an all-wheel drive off-roader by Mercedes-Benz.
It is featured in Forza Horizon 4 since Update Eleven and in Forza Horizon 5.
Synopsis[]
The G 63 AMG 6x6 is an extreme offroad variant of the Mercedes-Benz G-Class that was manufactured by Mercedes-Benz from 2013 to 2015 alongside standard G-Class models in Graz, Austria.
Platform[]
Compared to standard G-Class models, the 6x6 is fitted with three portal axles, with two fitted at the rear, that raise the vehicle height and enable a six-wheel drive configuration. The drivetrain uses five differentials with three lock stages for different offroad scenarios, and splits the torque in a ratio of 30 to 40 to 30 percent to maintain cornering stability.[1]
Drivetrain[]
Unlike the V12-powered G 65 AMG, the 6x6 uses the 5.5 liter twin-turbo M 157 V8 engine with the seven-speed automatic transmission configuration similar to contemporary '63' AMG models. Thanks to 536 hp (400 kW) and 560 ft·lb (760 N·m) of torque, it can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph (97 km/h) in 7.8 seconds despite weighing over 9000 lb (4082 kg).
