The SSK - Super Sport Kurz (German for Super Sport Short) - is a short wheelbase variant of the larger Mercedes-Benz S-Series that was designed to handle short circuits and hillclimb races.
Powered by a 200 hp (149 kW) 7.1 liter supercharged inline-six, it counts as one of the most powerful pre-war production cars ever made.[1]
