Just came back from Berlin, and wow, just wow... You've literally ignored everything I've told you last time we've chatted, and even think you could go away with it?! Looks like I've been way too soft on you.
If you continue changing the infobox layout with that weird spacing you put between the pipe symbol and equal symbol, I'll block you. And no, I'm not overreacting; we've already talked about this (and you didn't respond, he), so there's no reason for me to just let it slide again and again. Maybe you should think of creating new articles instead of being overly anal about little details in our car articles that were perfectly fine in the first place.
As if it could not be worse, you've actually posted this on reddit with my name on the title. You are such an asshole, mate. Enjoy your lifetime ban and continue crying on reddit instead of talking this through with me at least for once.
Oh yeah, this wasn't just about that infobox markup, but more about you not trying to co-operate with me. Yes, changing the engine displacement values was a mistake, but that was just me simply clicking on the undoing button, which I admit was not the best idea.
And just to let you know: This was not a matter of power play but purely a necessary reminder for you to work with the community. Yes, you might have not liked what I've proposed but that's exactly why I was willing to talk with you about it. At some point every community site will have a dispute involving well-established editors, but that's why you talk so you can get to a compromise that satifies both parties. You've already ignored me multiple times, and can't let our dispute go on forever. Like I've said before: if you've just tried to discuss it with me, I wouldn't have given you a warning.
However, since you've actually taken the step to publicly shame me and Wikia on reddit, where you've undeniably twisted this story in your favor, I cannot with good conscience have you on our staff any longer. For this reason, I will indefinitely block your account, although I'm willing to give you a second chance as a regular editor (after a 2-week block, because what you did was not exactly mature).
It is possible to hydrogen inject an internal combustion engine, The AMG Warthog is both Hydrogen injected and twin turbocharged, refer to BMW hydrogen 7, Mazda's Hydrogen RX-8 and it is also possible to Hydrogen inject a Turbo-Diesel engine.
In forza motorsport 4 it said that the Warthog was hydrogen injected.
I found them by switching to the SI (metric) values (N·m) and it turns out that the games use a slightly different torque conversion factor (in the games: 1 ft·lb = 1.3569 N·m; in real life: 1 ft·lb = 1.3558179483314004), so to fit with the N·m values, I use the decimal places (e.g. 700 ft·lb × 1.3558179483314004 = 949 N·m, but the game displays it as 950 N·m, so it's either 700.68 ft·lb or 701 ft·lb).
The game displays the torque ratings for the F12berlinetta, Aventador SV, Centenario, and Veneno as 690 N·m (changed to 508 ft·lb with US units), and while the Aventador LP 700-4 has the same torque rating of 690 N·m, it correctly appears as 509 ft·lb in US units instead.
OK, I just took a crack at the Wiesmann page and added a second decimal place to the torque spec of the 2011 MF5, because it has 501 lb-ft in FM4. It now correctly displays the Nm like you've wanted.
I'd use this method before you accidentally round up the imperial torque number. Should that not work for a few pages, we could always add a new function to the Torque template (a manual Nm input for example).
I have yet to achieve FH3 so I could build some cars for my writing projects. Would you be able to help me out by building some cars for me? If you want proof of my project, check out my wattpad. And once you're at the page, check out Need For Speed Carbon Unleashed. (Yes I know, basing it off of a movie and a video game while using a different game for reference.)
Hi, I've been working on a template for car variants that will replace our galleries. Pictures are still there but with car specs this time, which should give our readers a clearer picture of the differences between each model.
I've also added a collapse function for templates w/ at least 4 models, which has to be done manually (an automated version is a future plan). I'm pretty happy with the results but am wondering if there's anything else that could be added or changed.
I've also thought of creating pages for each Model Variant template, e.g. one for the C5 Vette, C6 Vette, etc. This would be like what we've done w/ the CarNav templates, which means we don't have to edit every car page it is on every time we want to change something.
One more thing: I'd also like to move the Variants section to the bottom of each article, as they are technically not any different from "Read more" sections or CarNav templates. HE/FE/Team Forza or Promo cars on the other hand are merely upgraded variants, so they don't need their own pages and should be left where they are.
I would actually prefer using redirects if there are cars whose in-game names differ slightly from what this wiki is supposed to have (e.g. Jaguar F-Type Project 7's capitalization should be left as is on the wiki as "Jaguar F-Type Project 7", but in the Forza games, its name is stylized as "Jaguar F-TYPE Project 7"). Honestly, I do not like the idea of putting parts of a car's name in all capital letters since it reminds me too much of marketing/advertising.
I actually don't want to say we should do away with redirects altogether, as some people may want to save time having to type out a car's full name (particularly if it's a race car) and instead type out the car's name without the racing number and main sponsor. That would then be a good use for a redirect.
I just don't like typing out the same thing twice (e.g. Barn Finds) if only a single letter is missing or similar. But I leave it up to you how to do it, I was only curious about why we should do it the other way.
I also accept redirects for miscapitalized names as it's better to have a link than none at all in such cases.
Zonda R, HW Mustang, and HW Bone Shaker are in... guess that leaves the P1 GTR the ONLY missing car from the FM6 Hot Wheels Car Pack! And no, the Ferrari 641 is not counted since they it's an F1 race car (meaning it's not fit for FH3), while the P1 GTR is fit for the game especailly considering the Zonda R, Sesto, 599XX, Vulcan, etc.!
On windows 10, Turn 10 made a Porsche pack and it has the Cayman GT4, 2016 911 GT3 RS, 2017 Panamrea Turbo, 550 Spyder, 1995 911 GT2, 718 RS 60, and 1972 911 Carrera RS. Some other Porsches might be Forzathon.
Please upload your future images in jpg like all other users. png takes a while to load on weaker computers and would even be too large to upload on higher resolutions. I've always converted my Horizon 3 screenshots to jpg for the wiki and haven't really noticed any quality loss. We use png for smaller images such as icons which would be really messed up with too much compression.
The Porsches are coming just wait, Zonda R might be Forzathon and might be the same for the SLR and F50 GT, Zenvo ST1 and Dodge Dart amight be in DLC packs. I think the P1 GTR might be Forza motorsport only.
