Morris is a British car manufacturer featured in Forza Horizon 4 and Forza Horizon 5.
Synopsis[]
It was essentially the successor company of WRM Motors, founded by William Morris in 1912; Morris Motors was founded in 1919 to take over WRM Motors's assets but produce the same vehicles.
The company was merged into the British Motor Corporation in 1952, along with MG, Riley and Wolseley; however, the Morris marque was unaffected, as BMC continued to use the Morris name for many years to come. The last known use of the Morris name for a passenger car was in 1984, when the Morris Ital was discontinued as BMC wanted to concentrate on the Austin brand; ironically, the Austin brand would be discontinued a number of years later.
The very last known usage of the Morris name was on a van version of the Austin Metro, which was produced until 1987 when the marque was abandoned completely. The rights to the name are currently held by Nanjing Automobile.
