"More refined than ever and with even more power to boot, this is the latest model of the Japanese supercar that fans affectionately dub “Godzilla.” The gaping V-Motion grille is the centerpiece of a new front-end look and also provides better engine cooling. Below, the new lip spoiler and bumper enhance what is already one of the most aggressive looks on the road. All wheel drive, massive twin turbos, and so much technology keeping power to the pavement give the GT-R an advantage on any surface. The GT-R may be Nissan’s halo model, but it is no angel."—Official description[1]
The 2017 Nissan GT-R - abbreviated as "Nissan GT-R '17" and also referred to as "Nissan GT-R (R35)"[2] - is an all-wheel drive supercar by Nissan.
It appears in Forza Horizon 3 and all subsequent main series titles, as well as Forza Street.
Synopsis[]
The 2017 GT-R was the second facelift for the R35 GT-R, consisting of subtle exterior changes such as a V-shaped grille to match it to Nissan's corporate front design, and a number of performance tweaks.[3] It has gained 23 hp (17 kW) over the 2012 GT-R Black Edition, but also weighs 46 lb (21 kg) more.
Performance[]
As a minor facelift model for the R35 GT-R, the 2017 GT-R shows negligible differences in performance to the 2012 GT-R Black Edition. Since its higher power output gives it a higher performance index rating than the 2012 GT-R, it also has a lower array of available upgrades before reaching the top of a class, while also lacking a widebody upgrade that the 2012 variant has.
