"You can call the Juke cute, you can call it quirky, but in its Nismo RS dress you can also call it fast. The folks behind closed doors of the Nismo department at Nissan had their way with the little crossover, and took it even further than the Nismo-badged Juke. The Nismo RS is the highest level performance package of the five available Juke models. With the RS badging you get more than just looks that will have the masses rubbernecking, you get a truly re-engineered platform. Starting with more power from a free-flowing exhaust and retuned ECU, to a stiffer suspension, lowered ride height and larger brake rotors. The Nismo RS hasn’t left anything out to get your attention, once it has it, we think you will approve."—Official description[1]
The 2014 Nissan Juke Nismo RS - abbreviated as Nissan Juke - is a FWD SUV by Nissan featured in Forza Horizon 2 as part of the IGN Car Pack, and as standard in Forza Motorsport 6 and Forza Motorsport 7.
Synopsis[]
The Juke Nismo RS is the highest-spec performance trim for the Nissan Juke, and was introduced in 2014.
Drivetrain[]
It shares the same DIGO-T turbocharged straight-four from the Nismo, but has a better-flowing exhaust and a retuned ECU, increasing engine output to 215 hp (160 kW) and 210 ft·lb (285 N·m) when equipped with the standard six-speed manual shared with the Nismo. However, this transmission has an optimized gear set and a shorter final drive (4.428:1 in comparison to the Nismo's 3.933:1) giving it better acceleration. The engine's connecting rods' durability has also been increased for higher torque settings with the manual transmission, in addition to a strengthened clutch cover and a dual mass flywheel.
The Juke Nismo RS is also equipped standard with a limited-slip differential that sends the most torque to the front wheel with the most traction, giving it better cornering ability.
Platform[]
Other changes include chassis reinforcements, which increases steering response and precision, an independent MacPherson strut front suspension and torsion beam rear suspension (for the FWD model), 4-wheel-brakes (larger brakes in front, vented brakes in the rear) and lower ride height. The interior features genuine Recaro seats, the first time for a Nismo.
