"If there was ever a go-to car for drifting, it’s the Nissan Silvia S13. Some would argue for the S14 and the minute differences which are mostly cosmetic, but the prevalence of S13s blasting tire shards and blowing smoke is testament enough. Ask any pro drifter and they will tell you these cars were simply built to drift. They were produced in abundance, and there is a series of Nissan engines waiting to replace or upgrade the SR20DE or SR20DET. So pick one of these tried and true Hoonigan’s and “Keep Drifting Fun.” So long as you are bouncing off the rev-limiter, banging doors, and leaving a trail of tire smoke, you are doing it right."
—Official description[1]

The 1992 Nissan Silvia CLUB K's - abbreviated as "Silvia '92" or "Silvia S13"[2] - is a rear-wheel drive sports car by Nissan.

It appears in Forza Motorsport 2 and all subsequent main series titles, except for Forza Horizon and Forza Motorsport 5.

Synopsis[]

The 1992 Silvia, which is part of the fifth generation S13 codenamed Silvia first launched in 1988, was an exclusive model for Nissan Prince Stores in Japan. It was also available in hatchback form as the 180SX.

The Club K's is based on a light rear-wheel drive chassis with a weight of 2535 lb (1150 kg), making it the lightest Silvia model in the Forza series apart from the 1966 Silvia. Its platform offers a multilink rear suspension that offers both well-rounded handling and ride qualities, which was later adopted by the R32 Skyline. The S13 could also be optioned with the Super HICAS four-wheel steering system, another technology that trickled down to various Nissan sports cars.

The SR20DET codenamed engine is a two litre turbocharged four-cylinder engine with a double overhead camshaft valvetrain. Operating at a boost pressure of 7 psi (0.48 bar), it produces 202 hp (151 kW) at 6400 rpm and 202 ft·lb (274 N·m) of torque at 4000 rpm.[3]

The S13 Silvia was replaced in 1994 by the S14, although its 180SX hatchback counterpart continued production until 1998.

Trivia[]

  • Its hood and trunk cannot be opened in Forzavista mode.
  • The S13 in real life was available in three trims named after court cards that included the J's (Jack), Q's (Queen) and K's (King). The K's and the Club K's, officially dubbed K's Club Collection, were the highest trims for the Silvia, as they came with turbocharged engines making them the fastest models of their range.[4]
