Groupe Oreca SAS is a French race car constructor founded in 1973 by Hughes de Chaunac.
The name Oreca stands for "Organisation Exploitation Compétition Automobiles", translated to "Competition Automobile Operation Organization".
Oreca has manufactured race cars for numerous categories such as open-wheel race cars for junior Formula categories, but it is their sports prototypes - such as the 07 - which are most well known. Oreca vehicles have taken numerous victories in the categories they participate in.
