"The shortest version of the classic Belvedere still packs a massive punch! The 1964 Plymouth Belvedere was fitted with a humongous 7-liter V8 engine that made this car a wonderful drag racer due to its big power and lighter weight. Not only gaining notoriety on the streets, the ‘64 Belvedere did a complete sweep of the 1964 Daytona NASCAR race taking all three positions. Relive its old glories going round the Oval Track or take it to the Street Scene and see what a classic muscle drag racer can do!"
—Official description[1]

The 1964 Plymouth Belvedere - abbreviated as "Belvedere '64" - is a front engine, rear-wheel-drive mid-size sedan by Plymouth.

It appears in Forza Horizon 5 as part of Series 27.

Synopsis[]

The 1964 model year Belvedere is an "intermediate" sized sedan based on Chrysler's mid-sized B-body platform.

As a departure from Plymouth's previous full-size offerings, it was introduced with the fifth generation as a 1962 model. The 1963 and 1964 model years of the same generation were altered for a longer and wider overall size but, nevertheless, were classified as a compact.

It was notable for being the first to utilise a 426 ci (7.0L) engine based on Chrysler's HEMI architecture, which - combined with a lightweight body - proved popular among drag racers, although it was only offered for the 1964 model year.
