"The most exciting part of the 2022 Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS is the “GT” in its name. This means this car was designed with the intention of performing as best as it could on the track and outside of it. And the Porsche engineers really delivered on that purpose. The GT4 RS was fitted with the same engine that you can find on the 911 GT3 with the slight distinction that it is now fitted in the middle. So you will now be delighted by the delicious noise that comes out of its naturally aspirated, 4-liter flat six that produces a monstrous 493 bhp. And to add up to the improvements made on this machine, the stiffer suspension and heavily improved aerodynamics will make this one of the strongest candidates for your favorite track toy."—Official description[1]
The 2022 Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS is a mid-engine, rear-wheel-drive sports coupe by Porsche.
It appears in Forza Horizon 5 as part of the Super Speed Car Pack, which was introduced with Series 26, and in Forza Motorsport (2023) as part of Update 5.0.
Synopsis[]
The 718 Cayman GT4 RS is the highest-performing model of the 718 line-up and also the first 718 to feature the "RS" moniker, which was previously used only for the company's flagship 911 cars.
To help performance, the GT4 RS model introduces weight-saving measures such as the absence of rear-quarter windows and lighter materials all around, an example being the bucket seats being made from carbon fiber reinforced plastic.[2]
The car borrows its naturally aspirated flat 6 from the 911 GT3 which, in this application, develops 493 hp (368 kW) and 332 ft·lb (450 N·m) of torque but maintains a redline of 9,000 rpm.[3]
