The 2023 Porsche 911 GT3 R - abbreviated as "911 GT3 R '23" - is a race variant of the Porsche 911 GT3 RS by Porsche.
It appears in Forza Horizon 5 as part of Series 40 and Forza Motorsport (2023) since Update 19.
Synopsis[]
Unveiled in the summer of 2022 at the Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps, the 992 Porsche 911 GT3 R is an evolution of the 991 Porsche 911 GT3 R. The main upgrade of the 992 GT3 R is its larger 4.2-liter flat-six engine that produces 565 hp (421 kW), however the car also features an improved aerodynamic profile and a more optimized vehicle balance.[2]
The car made its racing debut at the 2023 24 Hours of Daytona, where it suffered from ABS and traction control problems. These issues were corrected for future events with new updates to the car.[3]
