"The best bits of the 911 cranked up to 11 create a performance focused version of one of the world’s favorite GT racers: the 2023 Porsche 911 GT3 RS, a superb partner for any track day. The highly exclusive GT3 RS comes with a 4-liter six-cylinder engine that produces 518 bhp and reaches 100 kph in just beyond 3 seconds. Porsche’s engineering masterminds brought ideas birthed in F1 and other racing divisions into the GT3 RS as seen on the adjustable rear wing and turbo body that allows maximum airflow and 88 pounds more downforce. Every material found in this car, including the windows, is lightweight and its design with dynamic aerodynamics makes the most out of an already great engine. From its conception, the GT3 RS was built to become the king of the track."
—Official description[1]

The 2023 Porsche 911 GT3 RS - abbreviated as "P. 911 GT3 RS '23" - is a rear-wheel drive supercar by Porsche.

It appears in Forza Horizon 5 as part of Series 40 and Forza Motorsport (2023) as part of Update 18.

Synopsis[]

Debuted in August 2022, the 2023 Porsche 911 GT3 RS - codenamed 992 GT3 RS - is a track-focused version of the 992 GT3 and a replacement for the 991.2 GT3 RS. It only has a slightly improved power figure over the 991.2 GT3 RS, but a 2 times increase in downforce at 177 mph (285 km/h). Its redesigned rear wing features an active portion and a static portion, which open and close based on vehicle data, or manually by the driver.

The 992 GT3 RS lapped the Nürburgring-Nordschleife in 6:49.3 minutes, beating its predecessor by 7 seconds.[2]

Performance[]

The 992 GT3 RS' 4.0L F6 with 518 hp (386 kW) takes from 0-60 mph (97 km/h) in 2.7 seconds, reaching a top speed of 177 mph (285 km/h) in the high-downforce mode, and 183 mph (295 km/h) in the low-downforce mode.[3]
