If you have a problem accepting progress, or if technology frustrates you, the 2014 911 Turbo S is here to help. Its amazing powers start with 560 horsepower coming from the 3.8-liter, twin-turbo flat-six out back. Those compressors offer further therapeutic benefits from variable vane technology that helps them spin up even faster. To keep the tires from spinning up nearly as fast, the Turbo S is all-wheel-drive. Thanks to a new liquid-cooled Haldex hydraulic device the front wheels can handle even more torque. When you put this kind of uncanny acceleration together with world-class top speeds, the 911 Turbo S could be considered a supercar in touring car clothing. New four-wheel steering technology enables tighter and more stable turns at slow or high speed, ensuring that any questions about the value of progress are completely acknowledged, if a bit pointless.
— Official description [1]

The 2014 Porsche 911 Turbo S - abbreviated as 911 Turbo '14 - is a rear-engined supercar by Porsche featured in the Porsche Expansion for both Forza Motorsport 6 and Forza Horizon 2. It is featured as standard in all subsequent main series titles.

In Forza Horizon 3, it was unlockable as a reward in the Forzathon events At The Crossroads and Horizon Holiday Special.

Synopsis

The Turbo S is a high-performance performance variant of the pre-facelift sixth generation, 991-codenamed Porsche 911, given a codename of 991.1. It features all-wheel drive with four-wheel steering and a 3.8 liter twin-turbo engine producing 560 hp (418 kW). With top speeds north of 205 mph (330 km/h), as well as 0 - 60 mph (97 km/h) in less than 3 seconds, it is one of the fastest Porsche cars to date.

The Turbo S has all-wheel drive and four-wheel steering to improve turn-in steering in corners, although due to technical limitations, four-wheel steering is not present in the Forza games. Its exterior is fitted with 20" wheels and a front lip as well as an active rear wing. Weighing 3607 lb (1636 kg), the Turbo S is one of the heaviest Porsche 911 models but does not sacrifice in weight distribution due to an lightweight aluminum cylinder block engine with integrated drysump lubrication.

The 3.8L (3,800 cc) flat-six engine of the Turbo S uses two variable geometry turbochargers, offering 560 hp (418 kW) at 6,750 rpm and 553 ft·lb (750 N·m) at 2,250 to 4,000 rpm. This engine would later be uptuned for the 991.2 Turbo S and the 2018 Porsche 911 GT2 RS. Power is sent to all four wheels through a seven-speed dual clutch transmission, internally known as the PDK. The car is officially claimed to launch from 0 to 60 mph (97 km/h) in 2.8 seconds and hit a maximum top speed of 205 mph (330 km/h), which is exceeded in each Forza title appearance.[2]
