"The “Turbo” part in the 2023 Porsche 911 Turbo S’s name is not there just for show. This car can take down a quarter-mile race in just 9.9 seconds, all thanks to a 3.7-liter flat-six engine that can produce 640 horsepower and a fantastic all-wheel drive system that puts every horse to work on each wheel of the car. As we all know, performance isn’t just about horsepower (although that part is really fun) it is also how good a car can handle around corners, which the Turbo S can do fantastically. Its lower chassis, dampers, and helper springs make driving this car through corners an experience of its own. It might be packed to the brim with nice seats, connectivity, and more comfort options on its inside, but do not judge this car wrongly, or you might stare at its rear-lights all day on the track."
—Official description[1]

The 2023 Porsche 911 Turbo S - abbreviated as "911 Turbo S '23" - is an all-wheel drive, twin turbocharged sports car by Porsche.

It appears in Forza Horizon 5 as part of Series 40 and Forza Motorsport (2023) as part of Update 19.

Synopsis[]

Introduced in March 2020, the 992 Porsche 911 Turbo S is an evolution of the 991.2 911 Turbo S. It boasts a twin-turbocharged 3.7-liter flat-6 engine that is rated at 640 hp (477 kW) and 590 ft·lb (800 N·m), a 68 hp (51 kW) and 74 ft·lb (100 N·m) increase over the outgoing 991.2 Turbo S, thanks to its larger intakes and turbos. Other upgrades include an enhanced all-wheel drive system, a larger rear wing and Porsche dynamic chassis control.[2]

The 992 Turbo S was tested to lap the Nürburgring Nordschleife in 7:17.30 minutes, making it the fastest road-legal production vehicle to lap the track without using semi-slick race tires.

Performance[]

The 992 Turbo S can accelerate from 0-62 mph (100 km/h) in 2.7 seconds, to 124 mph (200 km/h) in 8.0 seconds, all the way to a top speed of 205 mph (330 km/h).[3]
