While the car is proof of concept and won’t enter production, the vision behind the all-wheel drive, lightweight and fully electric car has been to show how racecars could evolve over the next five to six years. Its two electric motors deliver over 800 kW (1,088 PS), which translates to 1,000 horsepower, and the car itself achieves 0-62mph in less than 2.5 seconds with an overall top speed of 186mph (300km/h). Porsche also patented the car’s distinct carbon fiber Exoskeleton roof. As for the fast-charging, thermal efficient and high-capacity 82 kWh battery powered by 900-volt technology, the car can be charged from 5% up to 80% in just 15 minutes which makes it perfect for high-intensity sprint racing.
