"The thought of a four-door Porsche is much easier to swallow since the release of the Cayenne SUV years ago, but it still seems slightly alien. The German performance powerhouse is wise and knows that selling more things to more people means more money for racing development. Despite its extra doors, the Panamera is pure Porsche and, whether you love it at first sight or let it grow on you, there is no doubt it is an amazing piece of design. Its 4.8-liter, twin-turbo, 4-cam motor unleashes 500 horsepower and a face- warping 568 foot-pounds of torque. Don’t even try and reach to change the station under full acceleration, it’s just not possible. The Panamera Turbo is a 4,343 pound car, that’s almost 700 pounds more than a 911. Yet, despite its bulk, it will do 0-60 in 3.6 seconds, can blow a quarter mile in 12 seconds, stops from 60 mph in less than 110 feet and can reach 188 miles per hour. ‘Nuff said."—Official description[1]
