The 723 Quartz Regalia Type-D - abbreviated as "Quartz Type-D" - is an all-wheel drive offroad convertible by Quartz from the 2016 role-playing game Final Fantasy XV.
It appears in Forza Horizon 4 as part of Update 6.
Synopsis[]
The Regalia is the car Final Fantasy XV protagonist Noctis Lucis Caelum and his friends use to travel across the realm of Eos.
Appearing as a black, four-seat convertible, the Quartz Regalia has its interior made of dark leather, with a chocobo talon motif on its hubcaps. Its design was largely influenced by the Cadillac Ciel concept car, Maybach Exelero one-off car and Rolls-Royce luxury cars.[1]
This particular variant has been upgraded with off-road capabilities, allowing it to go almost anywhere. It has also been fitted with boosters at the bottom to allow the car jump over obstacles (which can only be done in the Final Fantasy series).
Performance[]
The Regalia, weighing 6063 lb (2750 kg), is all-wheel drive and powered by a 7.2 litre V12 engine. It uses an eight-speed paddle-shift transmission with wide gear ratios. Its engine is boosted by a centrifugal supercharger that produces up to 5 psi (0.3 bar) of boost, resulting in 433 hp (323 kW) and 511 ft·lb (693 N·m) of torque. This gives it a decent launch acceleration time of 4.93 seconds from 0 to 60 mph (97 km/h), although it falls short on speed due to topping out at 113 mph (182 km/h).

- The Regalia Type-D was introduced to Final Fantasy XV on June 26, 2017 as part of update 1.11.
- Years after its introduction, the Regalia Type-D was removed from the Regalia skill tree and replaced with a Toyota Supra RZ, making it unobtainable outside of the Auction House.
