The 1968 Renault 4L Export - abbreviated as "Renault 4L '68" - is a front-engine, front-wheel drive small car manufactured by Renault.

It appears in Forza Horizon 5 as a barn find.

Synopsis[]

Built by Renault from 1961 to 1992, it is the world's first hatchback, and was popular all over the world due to it being both inexpensive and capable for small car.

First shown at the 1961 Paris Motor Show as the R4 with three models; the R4, the R4 van, and the R4L. The R4L "Luxury" trim was offered at launch and was described as a limousine with its six side windows.

In 1965, the R4 was renamed as the "Renault 4 Luxe", with the R4L becoming the "Renault 4 Export".
