The 1967 Renault 8 Gordini - abbreviated as "Renault 8" or "Ren. 8 G '67" - is a rear-wheel drive 4-door saloon car by Renault.

It appears in Forza Horizon 5 as part of the Car Pass on November 25, 2021 and in Forza Motorsport (2023).

Synopsis

Seen as one of Renault's most popular and affordable sport trims built by the manufacturer, the Gordini is based on a Renault 8 Major and was produced from 1964, but the 1966 "Gorde" redesign offered a race car underneath the regular looking bodywork.

Its engine displacement was increased from 1,108cc to 1,255cc, and was fitted with a 5-speed manual gearbox. It was a sporty street car years ahead of its time outdating the hot hatch revolution brought on by the Volkswagen Golf GTI.
