The 2016 Renault Clio R.S. 16 Concept - abbreviated as "Renault Clio '16" - is a concept hot hatch by Renault and a variant of the Renault Clio R.S. 200 EDC.
It appears in Forza Horizon 4 since Update 17, in Forza Horizon 5 as part of Series 16 and in Forza Motorsport (2023).
Synopsis[]
Celebrating Renault Sport's 40th anniversary, the Clio R.S. 16 Concept was launched in 2016 to showcase the brand's inclination towards high-performance superminis last seen on the 2003 Renault Sport Clio V6.
Engine and drivetrain[]
The drivetrain was picked off of the Megane RS 275 Trophy-R super hot hatch that includes a 2 liter turbocharged engine and 6-speed manual transmission. With 270 hp (201 kW), it is the second most powerful production Renault in the Forza series after the Renault Megane R.S..
Platform[]
The high-power engine required a substantial redesign of the suspension and brakes, prompting Renault to use custom parts and various Megane RS 275 Trophy-R components. The exterior received wider wheel arches and rear wing, and is claimed to produce 88 lb (40 kg) of downforce at 125 mph (201 km/h).[2] On top of that, the R.S. 16 weighs 28 lb (13 kg) less than the Clio RS 200, and the lightest Super Hot Hatch in Forza Horizon 4.
