|The regular Seat Leon is designed for the narrow streets of Spain's bustling metropolitan cities. The Cupra R, on the other hand, is at home on racetracks the world over. With styling cues drawn from the World Touring Car Championship cars, the Cupra R has the performance to live up to its inspiration. A TSI engine, one that combines supercharging with turbocharging, gives the little 4-cylinder engine huge amounts of power. Sending that power to the wheels is an electronically controlled all-wheel-drive system designed to reduce understeer. Even so, the best way to drive this hot hatch is to brake late into the corner, get it rotated, and then utilize all that power to rocket you toward the next turn.|
