The ION Red Line is the performance model of the Saturn Ion compact car that was only sold in North America.
It debuted in 2004, one year before the Chevrolet Cobalt SS Coupe , as General Motors first performance offering on the GM Delta platform.
It was available with an aggressive body kit, suspension modifications and a two liter supercharged GM Ecotec engine, which also found usage in the aforementioned Cobalt SS Coupe.[1]
