"Functional, sporty, safe, and well-equipped, sum up the 2012 Scion tC. It’s an entry level car with a unique look that features sound performance for a fair price. Under the hood is a 2.5-liter four-cylinder connected to the front wheels via a 6-speed transmission. It will do 0-60 in just under eight seconds and gets very reasonable mileage. For 2012, the body received a much more chiseled look and as with all Scion’s [sic] the list of dealer options is very long."—Official description[1]
The 2012 Scion tC is a front-wheel drive sport compact by Scion.
It appears in Forza Motorsport 4 as part of the April Alpinestars Pack and as standard in Forza Motorsport 5 and Forza Motorsport 6.
Synopsis[]
The 2012 tC is part of the second generation Scion tC, which debuted in 2010 after the discontinuation of the original model.
In the hopes of attracting more male buyers that would further increase the number of female buyers according to sales trends, the 2012 tC features a more muscular and angular styling, while retaining the standard glass roof and liftback body style from the original.
Its underpinnings are similar to its predecessor although it is powered by a more powerful 2.5 liter inline-four that is mated to a six-speed transmission.[2]
The tC was updated with styling similar to the Scion FR-S in 2014. It was phased out in 2016 following the discontinuation of the Scion brand.
