The 2016 Tesla Model S P90D with Ludicrous Mode - abbreviated as "Tesla Model S" - is an electric liftback by Tesla.
It appears in Forza Horizon 3.
Synopsis[]
It is an upgraded variant of the Tesla Model S P85D electric 5-door sedan.
It comes with a 90 kWh lithium ion battery upgraded from the 85 kWh battery in the P85D and has "Ludicrous Mode" activated, which results in a 0-60 mph (97 km/h) time of 2.8 seconds and a skidpad acceleration of 1.1 Gs. The batteries produce at most 532 hp (397 kW), while the motors produce 762 hp (568 kW). The in-game version has its power output derived from the batteries.
For 2016 and 2017, the Model S P90D was updated to the more powerful P100D, which also features a slightly revised exterior design.
Performance[]
Being capable of sending instantaneous torque to all four wheels, the Model S features very quick acceleration, requiring only 100 mph (161 km/h) in 7.1 seconds. This makes it particularly effective in launching from a standstill and recovering speed after completing a turn.
It loses to similar cars with a combustion engine when it comes to top speed, which is only 164 mph (264 km/h), but fares decently in terms of handling.
