Synopsis[]
Unveiled in 2019 for the 2020 model year, the Camry TRD is the top-of-the-line variant of the eight generation Toyota Camry (XV70) modified by Toyota Racing Development (TRD), Toyota's tuning division.
Based on the SE trim, the performance-oriented Camry TRD features a new bodykit, a rear wing, improvements to the brakes and suspension, sportier exhaust, lighter wheels, stiffer anti-roll bars, a lower ride height and a new 3.5-liter naturally-aspirated V6 engine, as well as a TRD-badged interior.[2]
Paired to an 8-speed automatic transmission, the 3.5L V6 engine produces 301 hp (224 kW) and 267 ft·lb (362 N·m) of torque, reaching 0 to 60 mph (97 km/h) in 5.8 seconds and a top speed of over 135 mph (217 km/h).[3]
