"Commonly known as the Mark III, the third-generation Supra represents the final divergence from the Celica it initially shared many components with—the Celica changed over to front-wheel drive, and the Supra thankfully remained rear-wheel drive. Now related to the Toyota Soarer, a JDM-only model that North America received a generation later as the Lexus SC, this Supra 2.0GT Twin Turbo features an engine that was never sold stateside. The 2-liter 1G-GTE features twin parallel turbochargers to produce a healthy 210 horsepower on 11 PSI of boost, although it can certainly handle more. Clean lines of the coupe often earned it comparisons to the C4 Corvette, but it’s maybe better to think of it as a blank slate for paint and body kit modifications—and there are plenty of the latter to choose from. The engine is as amenable to tuning as its larger sibling, the 1JZ-GTE, so if you crank up the boost this Supra’s immensely strong internals can handle it—or swap out for a more potent engine from the get-go. Whatever you choose to do, whether it is racing or drifting, this Supra’s got you covered."
—Official description[1]

The 1992 Toyota Supra 2.0 GT Twin Turbo - abbreviated as Toyota Supra '92 - is a RWD sports car by Toyota featured in all Xbox 360 releases of the Motorsport series.

It also appears in Forza Horizon 3 as part of the Logitech G Car Pack, and was introduced to Forza Horizon 4 as of Update 21.

It is unlockable as a Hard-to-Find car.

Synopsis

The 1992 Supra is part of the third generation Mk3 Supra, the first generation to be offered as a standalone model as it was now separate from the Toyota Celica. The Mk3 introduced turbocharging to the Supra in various engine configurations such as a two litre inline-six for the 2.0 GT Twin Turbo for the Japanese domestic market.

It was discontinued in 1993 and replaced by the Mk4 model, featured in Forza as the 1998 Toyota Supra RZ.

Drivetrain

The 1992 Supra is powered by a small displacement inline-six engine with parallel arranged twin turbochargers and an intercooler. It produces 206 hp (154 kW) - 210 hp (157 kW) in Forza Motorsport 2 - and 203 ft·lb (275 N·m) of torque.

Despite improved engine specifications, the 1992 Supra still requires 8 seconds to go 0 to 60 mph (97 km/h), but makes up with improved acceleration at higher speeds and an increased top speed of at least 150 mph (241 km/h).[2]

Platform

The 1992 Supra has the largest dimensions out of all Supra model generations due to a length of 4620 mm (181.9 in) and a weight of 3329 lb (1510 kg) - 3439 lb (1560 kg) in Forza Motorsport 2 - making it even heavier than the 1998 Supra RZ.

To offset the increase of weight, ventilated disc brakes are utilised on all wheels that allow for better heat dissipation. Ride quality and handling were improved by a more complex suspension setup consisting of double wishbones at the front and a multilink setup at the rear.

Variants

It is also featured as a Custom Tuned variant in Forza Motorsport 2 known as Do-Luck Supra with 375 hp (280 kW) and 303 ft·lb (411 N·m) of torque and a unique Do-Luck livery.
