The 2003 Volkswagen Bora VR6 is an all-wheel drive sedan by Volkswagen.
It appears in all Xbox 360 Motorsport titles.
It can also be encountered as a lower detail traffic vehicle in Forza Horizon 2, Forza Horizon 2 Presents Fast & Furious, Forza Horizon 4 and Forza Horizon 5.
Synopsis[]
The Bora VR6 was the top-of-the-line model of the Volkswagen Bora, the European variant of the fourth generation Volkswagen Jetta. Production of the VR6 went from 1999 to 2005, when it was replaced by the fifth-generation Volkswagen Jetta.
The 2.8 litre narrow-angle V6 engine of the Bora replaces the 2.9 litre V6 from the 1998 GTI VR6 Mk3 and other 1990s models. It improved upon its predecessor by introducing a dual overhead camshaft layout (DOHC), variable valve timing and a variable-length intake manifold. The results are 201 hp (150 kW) and 199 ft·lb (270 N·m) of torque.
The Bora VR6 is equipped with a six-speed transmission and a permanent 4Motion all-wheel drive system to avoid torque steering caused by its powertrain. It reaches a top speed of 143 mph (230 km/h).
